Was feeling back to normal today ... jab side effects all gone ... didn't tell the missus though as there was a good soccer match on TV that I wanted to watch ... glad I did ... Manchester City 6 v Manchester United 3 ... even Lee would have enjoyed this one!

Um, no.

I have a friend whose parents are Lithuanian so they are huge soccer fans. He knows how much soccer bores me to death so he pokes at me often if a game is on TV. When we first kind of met and were talking about it he looks at me and calls me "An Ignorant American".

He grew up on the south side of Chicago.

And you are favored. On the road! I read an article where they have a reasonable shot at a bowl game. They could win the West.

Another beautiful day for golf ... 

Fell asleep last night watching the Broncos/Colts junior high football game, hoping the Huskers/Rutgers game is at least more lively tonight. Still two crappy teams though.

I do believe a nefarious character that hangs in these parts takes a shine to pierogis.  

Just bought some mushroom pierogi's from a Polish deli yesterday ...

Well, I didn't think it was possible but I found something more boring to watch on TV than golf. Running. The Chicago Marathon started and it is being televised. Why would you want to watch people run/jog/walk? 

AND it has screwed up my breakfast plans because I can't cross Broadway to get to my Sunday morning nook.  

Another beautiful day.  Did more power washing yesterday, and cut the grass.   Wish it would rain - hasn't rained for quite a while.

Mmmmm, coffee. Mornings are starting to be a little chilly but I think we're due for 80 later today. Looking forward to quite a bit of baseball today.
