Recovering from vacation today with cold ones and beizbol.

Start physical therapy tomorrow on my broken hip. Not really scared about it. More hoping they can do something. The fact that it is still broken and not put back together is an issue though. It is kind of growing back together I guess. 

I just got a message from the hospital. They "look forward to helping me on my path to recovery".

Doesn't seem too uplifting.

Just back from a two week camping trip to Colorado. I need to rest up now!

Did you catch The String Cheese Incident? I have heard nice things about them.

Uh no, pretty much had my fill of them with one performance.

True but that was a fun weekend! And they were THE SHEET!

On vacation in Meeechigan.  Back home tomorrow.

I guess today has been a significant day in my life. It is my anniversary to THB (or so she tells me 😊). 

More importantly I became an uncle again this morning. My sister in law gave birth to a 7 lb, 5 oz boy.

From the picture I saw, there was no name on the headboard behind him so I guess they haven't named him yet.

I tried to get my brother to name him after me but I don't think that will fly.  

And I won a bet with THB on when he would be born. She picked a week ago or something and since she told me today is our anniversary, I went with that!

Hope you won something big and expensive ..... 

Home from our trip to St. Joseph, MI .... had a great time.

Also, Meeechigan dispensaries are much much cheaper than Illinois .... 😎 

Back from the hospital for my P/T. Young lass put me through the ringer. Good thing she is kinda hot. 

But I have more more P/T this coming Friday, Monday & Tuesday. 

Just checked my phone and let our aunt know that she is now a great aunt again. My stupid brother didn't even tell her.

Still extremely dry here and no rain expected in the foreseeable future. Temps holding steady right around 90. Looking forward to fall.

Rain here today - rained out my golf ... too bad I had to drive half an hour to the course to find out we were cancelled ...

Thunderstorms and torrential rain here this morning, then steady rain all day long ... great for the garden, which was parched after a prolonged heatwave and dry spell, but not so good for the planned garage roof replacement ... let's see what tomorrow brings

Talk about lazyness! ... that is of course unless you are all busy taking your pooches out walkies on National Dog Day ... 

Went to dinner with our financial adviser last night.  Finally went to Central Illinois today to see my dad after he turned 94.

Been a busy week, with a lot of driving.

Seeing Counting Crows tonight ... should be good.

Greetings! I actually intentionally went and stood in the rain yesterday for several minutes, it's been that long since we've had any. Right back to 95 today.  

Counting Crows were good - most crowded it's been at that outdoor venue.  Supposed to storm here this afternoon.

Northwestern and Illinois both won - when is the last time that happened?
