By the way ... I thought Lee was just being mean when he said you had no taste Â

Great news! I hope Dave is doing okay.Â
Not sure if you heard about it but The Drive By Truckers are playing Taste of Chicago Sunday evening. Free of course. I can't stand The Taste but I might make an exception to see them for nothing. Just no walking the rest of it.

I was with my brother-in-law, not Dave - Dave is doing fine. Yes, I was thinking of Drive By Truckers for free - just not sure with all the shootings and such whether I want to be in a big crowd these days ...
Might be seeing Sonny Landreth next Friday with Droogie at City Winery ...Â

Gooooooooooooooooooood 'ol Great British Pea Week!Â
Is there anyone in the house that can explain wott that is?
Thet just look like peas to me.

I thought the exact same thing about large crowds. I think already have special police units in places. They do have amazingly tight security from wott I have seen on the news. On the downside, the lines are very long just to get in.
I thought about going to see Sonny as well. I've never been to The City Winery. It is kind of a pain for me to get there though.

Glad to hear that Mike, but I would still test again in a couple of days time as the virus can take 3 to 5 days to incubate
Yes, good news indeed but as Colin says a retest is a good idea.
From what I've read/heard the dominant strain going around now is highly contagious and full vaxxed and boosted folks still get it pretty easily.

Great British Pea Week was launched by the Yes Peas! campaign to recognise the industry-wide effort made by experts across the pea vining sector, which produces 2 billion portions of peas for the UK market and beyond each year.
Britain’s Eastern Seaboard boasts a maritime climate which, combined with the soil and planting conditions, is the perfect environment for growing superior quality peas. The East Coast is home to some 700 pea growers and farmers, stretching from Suffolk right up to Dundee.
The harvesting process, which lasts an average eight weeks, is a huge operation which takes place between June through to August, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Harvesting machines, known as pea viners, work in unison to harvest, shell and transport the peas from field to frozen as quickly as possible, with the majority in just 150 minutes, ensuring the freshness and nutrients of each pea is locked in.

I stopped off at the grocery store for groceries and got a box of Frosted Flakes since I think I can eat them for now.
Anyway, in the box somewhere there is a Buzz Lightyear Glow in the Dark Decal Set from the new movie.
Now when I fish this out, I will send it to whoever wants it under the condition that you send me your BEST shows.
International shipping rates apply. Sorry Colin. Â

Good morning, all!

Good Morning ..... Â

Played golf yesterday, then went to a local microbrew last night.  Not much going on today, have a call with our financial advisor to see if we have any money left ....Â

Greetings and saliva-lations.
A couple of back patio cigar and cold ones days recently. May just have to revisit that again today.
I always share some tunes with the entire neighborhood too, most recently some '72 Dead. Didn't care for much of their later stuff but don't mind the early stuff, late 60's - early 70's.

I never saw Jerry. In fact, at the time I thought The Dead were some kind of goth metal band because of their logos. Â
I've seen the various incarnations over the years and really like them. Even saw Mickey Hart's Mystery Box. That was surprisingly good! I think I only saw Bob and Phil on the stage together once.
I don't have any early Dead stuff.
