I think Radiohead would be the band I'd travel the furthest to see at the moment.

Just to show how tastes differ, I wouldn't walk across the street to see Radiohead.

Morning all.

Wanee.

Got the email from Helen - this time of year, spring on its way, thoughts of Wanee.

Wish I was going. 🙁

I saw them in downtown Detroit over 20 years ago. This was way before they got big. Tickets were $20 I think. They were playing "Creep" and my buddy and I were talking. We got shushed for talking.

Any places worth checking out? My boss recommended me to check out Portillo's.

You are way the hell away from me too. Nowhere near downtown like when you cane here a few years ago.

Snag can answer your question about locations way better than me. When someone asks me where some town is, I just say it is west of Chicago. It can't be east unless it is in Lake Michigan. 😉

Good evening

Listened to the band Acid Mother Temple on my drive in to work this morning. It wasn't the best choice for a 5:30 AM drive while half asleep but it was kind of groovy. I'm just glad I made it to work.

Can't agree on everything.

Another thing I would travel to see are "legendary" venues. The Gorge, Ryman, Spirit of Suwanne Park, Bethel Woods, and the Beacon.

The Beacon is obviously epic. As is the Chicago Theatre. Since you live in Michigan, try the Majestic, The Fox, and Saint Andrews is another one. Smaller but that place is awesome. Loud as hell. All in downtown Detroit.
