What's happening in the Rush world?
Nothing that I know of, there was just a thread on their Snakes and Arrows tour, which in turn made me remember going to the R40 show.
Matter of fact in that thread, it says:
On a side note I was listening to Eddie Trunk interview Kenny Arnoff the other day (good piece and check it out if you can). Kenny was talking about his relationship with Neil, sounded pretty cool . I think we all know Rush is pretty much done , but I guess you never say never. But from what Ed said it sounds like Neil has pretty much put down the drum sticks for good . I don't know a lot about him ,but he seems like the type of person when he says he is done , he's done.
My company is really something.
They send out test "phishing emails" to test you, to see if you will click on a link without knowing what its all about.
Just got one today, "with the Superbowl coming up, this serves as a reminder on the policies of using company resources for activities like gambling, blah, blah, blah - click here to review and acknowledge the policy"
In Outlook, the company email, there is a "Report Phishing" button that we are supposed to use if we suspect a phishing email.
It just irks me that they somewhat regularly send out these gotcha/test emails.
And YES, I might just quit !
I worked at a place that tried to totally cut off the internet. I went to the executive VP of finance and told him they were nuts. I'm working multi million dollar deals and I HAVE to have the internet.
They allowed me to have it when they realized the severity of what they trying to accomplish.

They also banned people from going outside to smoke. Boy were some people pissed. That didn't bother me except every time I needed to contact an IT person I would have to go outside to get one.

Today is the last day to buy food in Chicago without getting hit without a seven cents per bag charge. I went to Target yesterday and the cashier told me to load up on them.

R40 was a great show. I loved the concept of starting with the newer material and going back in time.
They were always great in concert........ the surround sound versions of 2112 and Farewell to Kings are awesome.......
Good evening, been listening to the Day of the Dead release. Some interesting versions of some classic songs. When I'm done with the whole thing I'm thinking of taking the best songs and putting them in order of the best Dead setlist.
This sounds interesting, send it out to all your friends here also ! 😉
