Not that many of you would know, but there is a weird kind of relief when ALL the teams you follow are OUT of contention, allowing me to watch ALL the NFL playoffs and the college football playoff unfettered by allegiance and stress free.

Well, 2017 is off to a bumpy start.
My mother-in-law got airlifted to a high-level hospital last Friday for emergency brain surgery last Friday (Dr. Gumby was not the specialist, and the brain did not have to come out). Looks like she might have fell and didn't remember what happened.
She is doing surprisingly well and on a rehab floor already.
