Wott a bunch of night time lazy asses! 😉

Everyone else must put their jammies on about four in the afternoon. 😉

I'm more of a 4 AM person for putting on my jammies. That's the life when working nights

{rant on}

I have been at my job going on 33 years now.

I have seen changes, processes, mgmt styles, new ideas, new directions, new everything - come and go.

I really need to retire but am going to need to make it 5 or so more years.

I get dinged now and again for fixing the darn problem, but not following the correct process.

In other words, just fixing the problem and not engaging all the right people and/or filling out the appropriate paperwork ahead of time and getting all the appropriate approvals.

I really need to retire and allow someone much younger to deal with this crap.

{rant over}

Preaching to the choir on this one. Seems as if management prefers another outage than fixing a problem quickly.

I take it you are in IT or something similar ?

My problem is I have just been at this same company for far too long.

I was there BEFORE we had Change management and Problem management and Project management.

When I started, everyone actually DID something. Now we have entire departments that essentially just look at what other people do and critique it, report on it.

I could go on, but no one wants to hear it, like I said, been there too long, ugh.

Reminds me of a Drew Carey line in one of his episodes, he was responding to someone that was whining about their job:

"ahh, you don't like your job? Join the club, its called everybody and we meet at the bar."

Happy Friday, short work day to end a short week.

Anyone think the Dow will close the year above 20,000 ?

Tennessee now favored by 10 points.

Shifting my wager to over the point total. Just not comfortable with laying, or taking, 10.

Go Huskers! Score a bunch of points! 😛

Probably shouldn't publicize this but Woods was trying to set up a bet between us on the game.

He proposed putting up a "slightly used" goat from him versus a box of Omaha Steaks from me.

I politely declined..... 😉 😛

Cha-ching. $$$$

Just knew with our depleted squad and both suspect defenses, the over was money.

Or, in this case, big money.

More Dragon's Milk in my future... 😉

Truly, I think we'll have a much better team next year and I look forward to that. Smile

Have Fla State tonight.

Does anyone else think Jim Harbaugh has a wee bit of an ego problem????
