I have tickets to see TTB and Jack Pearson at the Tennessee on Jan 26. Great band but I just have been underwhelmed with Susan the last few times I have seen them. I'm not a hater, but if she would just dial it back a little...

I think they are definitely THE best live band out right now. Weeknight show made it tough and its about an hour drive to Loserville. Wouldn't have gotten back home til about 1am and had to punch the clock at 6 the next morning. Trust me, it was hard to pass.
I have tickets to see TTB and Jack Pearson at the Tennessee on Jan 26. Great band but I just have been underwhelmed with Susan the last few times I have seen them. I'm not a hater, but if she would just dial it back a little...
Coming down for this as well, excited to see Jack for the first time, still can't get over the whole Squier thing. Also got my Ryman tickets for the Friday show in March, pretty good seats on the floor. I've never been to the Ryman before, can't wait!

The Ryman is very cool. The seats are just old church pews, and are hard as hell, so maybe take a cushion. The room has a vibe that no other venue has because of the history.
Have you ever been to the Tennessee? I would put it up against any other theater that I have ever been to, including the Fox in Atlanta. And, downtown Knoxville has a multitude of places to eat and drink before the show.
Jack Pearson is the shit. Period. Actually, there's no telling what guitar he will play that night. I have seen him play Fenders and Gibsons. That Squier he played in the All My Friends show was a go to axe for him for quite a while. He played it at the GABBAfest that one year. I think he said he paid $90 for it.

I get that. At least you have a few other chances to see them. They seem to come to my neck of the woods in the summer.
