Not sure how one plays hooky from retirement or I'd make a few suggestions. It's pretty much hooky all the time.

Finally finished my federal taxes - now need to do state and finish up my daughter's taxes.

Interesting 3 days......
On Monday, our sump pump starting making weird noises...... called a plumber, he came out and replaced it same day. Decided to get a backup system - he didn't have them in stock, said he would come Wednesday and put it in.
Tuesday, played my first outdoor round of golf for the year - we lost a few balls that plugged in the fairway since it was so wet. Then my wife and I went to see Jason Isbell solo show. Backup was I'm With Her, 3 women who played violin, mandolin, banjo and guitars - they were very good - this was the first night of their tour - they just released an album - all are stars on their own. Jason was excellent - great songs, very funny stories in between songs. Small venue - a movie theater that holds 1000. They were very strict about no pictures and no video - which was great. Really enjoyed the show. (except for the asswipe that had to have his phone on next to me during the backup - at least he turned it off when my wife asked him "politely" ).
Today, the plumber came back and installed the battery backup pump. Just in time, supposed to rain/snow tonight and tomorrow.

You know, I don't know wtf is up with people and their @##! phones. It's a whole new dimension of rudeness. One that really pisses me off is to be in a restaurant having dinner and the asswipe next to you is loudly carrying on a conversation that he/she thinks everyone else should hear. Is it so that other people will think that for some reason, just because someone called you, you are so important that everyone else can just go eff themselves? For god's sake, turn your phocking phone off long enough to have a meal. 
Oh, and glad you got a good show from Jason. He does write excellent songs.
My wife really enjoyed it - loved that it was an acoustic show..........
