I'll hand it to Tinsley, chatted with him quite some time before the show, he was coughing heavily and had a very raspy voice, but he knocked it out of the park singing wise.
Giutar work, as usual, was completely stellar.

Personal gripe, I wish he'd play a wider variety of his catalog, or other songs that he could really open up on, before a show starts, I can guess 95% of the setlist.

Went to a Golf Expo today - not very crowded....... the roads are not fun - we probably have at least 10 inches of snow today.............non-stop shoveling and snow blowing.........

I agree. I just wish he would sing more. The guitar is great but I love the vocals too and he doesn't sing as much as he used to. Still, I always enjoy his shows when he comes down to South Florida.

IP, all the shows I've seen in Florida were solo! He comes down here every winter a couple of times.

Sidewalks around here are bad. Even downtown. Only so much room to put the snow. Accumulates at the intersections. My feet were soaked last evening. Streets are fine. No driving problems I don't think.

Had on a video of SRV of various appearances on tv.
One of the songs was a cover of Little Feats' "Sailing Shoes," which I found interesting that the collections of musicians on stage had decided to do. Other players besides Stevie Ray included David Sanborn on sax and Hiram Bullock on guitar. There were three female vocalists singing.
I thought the song selection was additionally intersting because of the drug references within it. However, when they got to the line "gee that cocaine tree sure looks fine" it became "cocoa tree" instead.

We had over 12 inches of snow yesterday - was pretty beat from shoveling/snow blowing. Had a few neighbors over for a Cards Against Humanity game - it was fun, and people didn't leave until about 1:00.
Not going to make Kirk's signing today......
