Spent most of the evening in Chicago last night.
Saw Devil and a Woodpile do an early set at the Hideout, then a few rockabilly bands at Martyr's.
One of my favorite sets ever was Honeyboy Edwards with Devil in a Woodpile at Bluesfest around 2009. It was still a good sized festival back then, but you could hear a pin drop around that stage.
Also found some Bourbon County Stout at the nearby Binny's before the show.

The second Crossroads Fest in Chicago, Sandman and myself made it a point to go to the Ernie Ball "outer stage" when Honeyboy played there. Really glad I did as he passed not too long after that.
I also got the stage placard that had the times and names of all the artists that played there that day! There were two, the gal in charge of coordinating things on the stage took the other. It's pretty darn cool.
