Having cataract surgery on my right eye in December - have to go today to have my eye measured.... yikes.... 😮
Everyone that I know of that has had that done had good results - including no longer needing glasses.
I am farsighted...... to get the lens that would help with my reading would be $2000 (per eye - not covered by insurance) - and may cause side effects like having problems with lights at night .... I will probably stick with glasses.....

I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 on my main PC when it was free - no issues, I like 10 better than 8. Also have 10 on my ASUS tablet.
Not sure on the DVD burner - I use an old version of NERO that has a lot of different functions. It copies cd's and dvd's, has audio editing tools (that I have used on some projects for coot*) and video editing tools.
If you are looking for a free one, just google 'free dvd burner' and look at the reviews. I think somebody had a thread on burning software in Anything Goes.
I tried one and it did make a copy, but you had to make a folder and copy the contents of the disc, and then look for the file on the copied disc to get it to play. I then tried Ashampoo, copied two DVDs and a CD really easy. I would recommend that free software (Ashampoo), even a relative pc dumbass like me can use it.
