August 1 is looking doable - where is everybody staying? Anybody spending a second day/night for Chad's bar? Say, spending Friday night in Manchester, and then going to Cedar Rapids for Sat night?
I would like to know about lodging, also.
I'm still looking at it though my chances of making it became slimmer with the development of a couple of roof leaks during all the rain last week. My funds may be needed elsewhere...
But, I could see getting there and going to Manchester on Fri. if I am able to come.
Chad mentioned there are some nice places right downtown where the show is. I don't have names but could probably google some. Razor is hiking in Colorado and his cell coverage is real spotty right now. I'll try to get some names soon.

Looks to me like it would be just as easy to go back to Cedar Rapids, provided you had a DD, which were I there, would be me...

The Days Inn Manchester. Lovely place, the pillows are outstanding.

Slim and me are beginning to form a plan on the Tinsley show.
We can be pretty flexible but are primarily looking at starting out early that Saturday morning from Council Bluffs (and hoping BHawk can join us for the ride!). That would get us in early afternoon-ish, in time for a pre-show gathering. Chad's hotel recommendation sounds good to us. To cut costs, might share a room, might get our own but if someone else is looking at cost savings (I'm looking at you Woods! :)) and wanted to split a room either Slim and/or me are fine with getting a room by ourselves or splitting one with someone else.
As far as tying in Manchester on Friday night, it sort of depends upon how many people are actually committing to attending and what their interest in that is. As I said, both Slim and me can be flexible on that.

Booked a campsite at Bigfoot Beach State Park. They had me at the name.
I have a guy coming to do an estimate on Sat. The first estimate was not wott I wanted to hear!
