A bit more info on the Tinsley show in Cedar Rapids August 1st. Looks like two acts, I assume Tinsley will be more the headliner. Gates open at 5 PM, show from 6-10 pm.
Tickets are $20.
You can google Linn County Blues Festival 2015 and they (finally!) have an updated Facebook page with details. Tickets are available via TicketBastard, and I would assume, available day of the show (maybe higher that day?).

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood 'ol Tuesday morning. Been a very busy early Chicago summer. Blues Fest was fun although the weather stunk. Pride Fest was fun. Now we have a whole week of Grateful Dead stuff going on.
It should be a great weekend. I sure wish the local folks I know had a parking lot pass secured, though!

Yes, but no set plans each afternoon.
I thought they were opening lots each day at 1, and alllowing tailgates through show time.

We don't have concert tix but Carin is willing to go and hang out. I think it will be fun for a bit in the afternoon.

He's playing in Chattanooga Fri night, just announced. If I went, I would just drive back home. Don't know... it's supposed to rain.

Yeah, I was wondering who all was a "for sure" for that adventure myself.
Went to a great event yesterday - had lunch, saw a demo by Hank Haney, who was Tiger's old swing coach..... he was very good and very funny. Then got to play a scramble on Cog Hill #4 - which is Dubsdread and where they used to play the Western Open. Then dinner, and received a signed copy of Hank's book about his time with Tiger........ very fun day..........

I had to go downtown this morning and I stopped into The Billy Goat Tavern on Michigan Ave for lunch. If anyone is interested, I can get us a pretty good hook up, a little bit for lunch (mostly drinks). Then we can go hang out in the parking lot.
