I can't find a thing about a blues festival in Cedar Rapids. Is this a one-day or two day event? Where is the event held? Where y'all gonna stay? How many acts?

What makes me question whether this event will happen or not is that Tinsley talked to the promoter last week about the Linn County Blues website not showing any upcoming dates and the lack of information about the event that day. The guy said "he's working on updating the website." To which I told Tinsley, since the festival ran for several decades but didn't take place last year that I'd think they'd be super aggressive about getting the word out that it was happening again this year. We're basically two months until the date and no information is out there.
I called the Bluesmore group who had been a partner in the event through 2013 and they said that the relationship had ended in 2013 and they had no idea who to contact whether or not it was being revived.
Tinsley is still planning on it but he said shows are always subject to getting cancelled due to poor advance ticket sales, etc. As it is, there isn't even any way to try and get an advance ticket so far.
To answer the other question, it's usually a one day event with three groups (at least that's what it was historically).
My own personal feeling is the longer that this goes with no advance promotion or information about the event surfacing, it's not going to happen. I hope that I'm wrong.

It's very puzzling. I checked on air fare, and it's doable, but it looks kind of sketchy for sure.
