Need to attend that festival sometime. It always has a great lineup. As for my weekend plans I'm going to the Tigers game on Saturday
This will be my first time because:
a) I'm not a big fan of Moe or Umphrey's; and
b) I'm not excited about hippy camping.
We'll see how it goes, I'll be staying in a pop-up camper, and there's never anything wrong with hippy chicks.
I'm also softening a bit on Moe., and there are some other great bands.

I barely got yelled at. And only for entering my boss' office without knocking. He does it to me all of the time.
I printed out my paycheck, had him sign it and two other employee's checks and then signed it myself (I am authorized to sign checks and we need two signatures).
He is gonna be pissed that I signed it instead of the other owner but my secretary was busting me about it and I figured if I was paying her I might as well get paid too.

In other news, on my bus ride home this evening, this freight truck totally clocked the city bus I was on. Unfortunately, I was sitting on the side of the bus where the truck hit it. I kind of fell into the aisle. It isn't terrible but my back hurts. The freight truck just drove away. The bus driver gets out and makes sure the bus is okay to drive, gets back in and continues on. Didn't ask if anyone was injured which I guess I kind of was. I didn't want to go to the hospital because there is really nothing they can do for you.
Probably just be a bit sore in the morning.

Glad I woke up at 1am to watch some of the hockey game. Chicago and Anaheim really battled it out. Glad Hawks won. Am rooting for them to go into the SCF along with Tampa Bay.

Reason A is the biggest reason I'd go. Umphrey's is up near the top of my favorite active bands. Also would like to see moe.

Visited with Tinsley today about the August 1st Cedar Rapids show. When I questioned how solid the gig was he asked the promoter who said the group putting it on was working on updating their site, so, he thinks it's solid.
Make any plans accordingly. Even if it would fall through, I'd still drive to CR to drink beer with Sio and grimace at Woods' tee shirts. 😉
