Lee asks that question to all the boys in his neighborhood.

I searched "blues festival cedar rapids" and the most recent such event seems to have taken place in 2013.
Could coot be in the sauce again?
It's on Tinsley's site. He was in NYC when I asked him about it. He said when he got off the road he'd check about it but he thought that it was a solid show.
I'll update when I hear from him. Just wanted to let people know well in advance. Sure wouldn't want you to buy a plane ticket that would become pointless.

And yes, there is no rule that you must go through Indiana. 😉
To fly or drive, what should I do?
On the one hand if I drive, Rose can come.
If I fly, I may have to depend on shady characters to chauffeur me about.
On the plus side, I can't afford to fly Rose out, too. 😛[Edited on 5/15/2015 by michaelsio]
I'm sure we can accommodate flyers. You looking at Omaha, Des Moines or Cedar Rapids?
I'll talk to Tinsley again early next week when he gets off the road but his site references the Linn County Blues Festival although their last festival was 2013 not 2014.
I think Woods is flying into Kokomo, IN and will have a "police escort" to the show. 😉
"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Oh, and, Good Morning.
"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Watched some dvds last night. One was a "Blues Legends" show from '92. Chuck Leavell played keyboards throughout.
Last performer was BB. His first song was "I'm Movin' On." Very fortunate to have seen him five different times, different stages of his career.

Good Morning.................

yardwork at 100% humidity is not fun.... and draining............ 😮

Did have a mint julep for the Preakness, though..............

How cool is it that you saw BB and Robert Johnson

Don't taze me, bro...
I have actually been through the Cedar Rapids airport. I think it was a connection for one of my trips to Denver.
When I went to Oregon, I went from ATL to Portland. That's the longest flight I've ever been on, in the middle seat with two other big fellas, across the isle from a young mother with TWO screamin' young'uns. She had begun her trip in Frankfurt, Germany. God, was I glad to get off that plane.

That should have been about four posts...

Good morning lazy asses!
