I went to the Roller Derby in Cedar Rapids. The Farmer's Market and a Greek festival as well. Then I got a ticket in the mail for "speeding" 6 miles over the limit. I wrote the Mayor a nasty letter and boycotted the city for the rest of the time I lived in Iowa City.
I later broke the boycott to see Gov't Mule on the river. The show was truncated by deadly lightning.
In truth it is a nice town, but those dang speed cameras are akin to highway robbery. I had a friend who got 3 tickets in one day.
