Got an email from TM this evening. My tix for Gregg's Laid Back Festival in Chicago have been printed. Still no clue who else is playing but I got good seats for $90 for two. Supposed to start at 4:00 PM so there should be some other good bands.

For Atlanta he has ZZTop and Blackberry Smoke - along with 5 other bands I think - 2 stages

My "work" here is done. Grin

Lee, with Carolina -6 and the o/u at 45.5, who ya got?

Well, since you asked, here are my open bets at the moment:

Car - 6

O/U I took over 45

Silly, what they call prop bets:

Most Receiving Yards

Jerriico Cotchery (CAR) 12 -1
Tenn Ginn Jr (CAR) 5-1

First Touchdown

Greg Olson 7.5 - 1

Most Rushing Yards

Mike Tolbert 50 -1

And the last one:

CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES

6 - 1

Wow, that would be cool. Smile Surprised ZZTop would be playing before Gregg, not that it matters.

And I would love to see Blackberry. Never seen them before.

Don't think there is room for a second stage unless they set up a small one in the concourse.

But tomorrow we get about 12 hours of college hoops.

A betting man could lose his shirt in that environment! 😮

Hoping Michigan-Michigan State is a good game

I gave a lot of consideration to Denver, however, I'll be on Carolina. Ultimately, I think an advantage for them is they know right where Manning will be and he's not at all mobile to elude the rush.

Haven't completely decided yet but leaning toward the under.

I think the game is close for 2 1/2 to 3 quarters with the Panthers ending up winning by 10-14.

Thankfully I only lost a little bit. Mostly I put a few bucks here and there on those "prop" bets but as I said earlier, I thought Carolina would win even though I didn't want them to.

I should have listened to THB and taken Denver.
