new live Clapton blu-ray/cd combo is actually pretty good.

setlist is a bit stale at this point, but at 70, EC probably doesn't give a fuck what i think

Good morning, all! Grin

I'm starting off the day with some pre-office work, and Chicago Transit Authority.

Damn, was that band was a powerhouse in the Terry Kath days.

This here is quite a treat...

And the "360 Sound" engineering on the CTA album makes it a slab of vinyl I go for often. I think I bought my copy ages ago, for a dollar, at a big antiques warehouse/flea market. It still sounds stellar.

Also pulled Chicago III this morning and listened to the first two sides. Those tracks aren't as familiar, but so good.

I never really thought about it, but it could be argued that Chicago is the most popular "Jam" band ever.

Those first 3 Chicago albums were always in heavy rotation when I was a lad.

My original plan was to work through the first three lps at home this morning, but this confounded job thing interfered with my plans again. 😉

I am having pumpkin pie for breakfast. It is protein and vegetables like my doctor said.
Never mind what he said about sugar! It is Marie Calendar. I hardly ever bake anymore.

I had tickets to see Gregg Allman on my birthday, Dec. 31st, in Atlanta, but I had to cancel and sell my tickets. It hurt to miss him, but I had two very sick cats and well, you know who comes first! 😉
