Yes it is.............

My son got me whiskey rocks for my birthday - so you can chill the whiskey without diluting it..... can't wait to try it............ Grin

They work wonderfully! Grin

I still add about a half-teaspoon worth of distilled water to any neat whisky or whiskey, as the results are quite amazing.

Where can I buy some of these whiskey rocks? It would make a great gift for someone on my Christmas list.

The internet is not behaving at my office.

Luckily, I know who to blame.

Hey Lee, we definitely need to find an early show soon! Putz and I are trying to find a cheap show in the city between Thanksgiving and Christmas-I'll let you know if we can get on the same page.

I looked around and I don't see much. Larry McCray is at Kingston Mines Nov. 27th and 28th. Chicago Blues All-Stars are there Nov. 20th and 21st on the small stage. Killer Ray Allison is the leader. They are awesome. Not sure how they will fit them all on that stage but who knows. $15 for both.

Nothing at the Vic or Riv. There are a few tix left for Jorma at The Old Town School in December but the tix are $40 before fees.

There is always B.L.U.E.S. to fall back on.

Just some thoughts..... Smile

This is one of the late shows we are looking at:

We saw the Shack Shakers a handful of times about 10 years ago. They always put on a great show.

I saw the prices for TTB but it is still tempting.

- Ticket Prices: Tier 1 = $141.00 ($125.00 Ticket + $16.00 Applauze Fee) Tier 2 = $94.00 ($79.00 Ticket + $15.00 Applauze Fee) Tier 3 = $70.00 ($59.00 Ticket + $11.00 Applauze Fee)

I'm hoping to see them at a festival this summer (I guessing they are due for Summer Camp, which I will probably do this year). Unless Sang or someone else has an unexpected extra, and I have some extra cash to burn that month, I'll probably pass on this one.

That's the festival I need to attend. Always has the majority of my favorite bands playing.

Early bird tickets are on sale this Friday, Riot Fest usually does an early bird on Black Friday.

A friend just called to see if I wanted to see them at the Ryman (they're doing a 3 night run). Well, gonna see them at the Christmas Jam, they will likely be at Wanee???, and I am going to see John Prine at the Ryman two nights the following weekend. So, two weekends in a row in Nashville where hotels are approaching NYC rates... I can't see it.

I'm not a Susan hater, I do like TTB, but I just can't get that excited about travelling to see them in Nashville. If it were the dTb, hell yes, I would definitely make at least one show. Derek still makes my shit wiggle.
