Founding member Jaimoe's intricate, jazzy drumming, percussion and ad libitum cymbal flourishes perfectly provided a special sauce to the ABB's unique sound. 

Butch Trucks was a world class drummer and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band. He laid a down a conventional beat, powerful as a freight train, that kept their music on track.  

Founding ABB member Gregg Allman's signature, growling vocals were instantly recognizable around the world. He was a gifted songwriter who played the Hammond B3 organ, electric piano, and guitar with the band ... and often let the crowds know they were a great bunch. 

Oteil is a world-class bass player who took the ABB stage, and our hearts, with his passion and sound. Not only is he the master of Bass and Time, but he scats and sings too!

How anyone could look so calm while playing such insanely great lead guitar is beyond us. Derek left many of us spellbound!

Mix spine-tingling lead guitar playing with soulful vocals, add a quick smile and wonderful spirit, and you get Warren Haynes. What a combination!

Marc Quinones' mastery of percussion added a complex tapestry of rhythmic fills to the ABB's magical sound.
