Sometimes nothing turns up. Sometimes it does. Thought I'd create and use this forum to occasionally share some of what we've found in addition to adding it to the Database. 

Kicking it off ... On August 4, 1979 the Allman Brothers Band made their debut performance at Red Rocks.

On August 4, 1972 the Allman Brothers Band played 2 shows at the Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA. Their contract rider requested 4 cases of beer (either one of the following and/or a combination of the following: Budweiser, Pabst Blue Ribbon and/or Coors), 1 case of wine, 1 case of soft drinks, crushed ice and container for the same, ample 12-oz. beverage cups, snacks for 15 people.
