So far I have 7.
I would really appreciate adding this show to the short list of shows I saw.
Thank you

I posted links to the entire Crossroads 2026 shows, Day One & Day Two. But they're really long, and it in case anyone missed it, here's Billy Gibbons & The BFG Band's entire scorching 25 minute set from Day One. Bill Murray says it all: "The cool has entered this building." I couldn't agree more. BFG includes Chris Layton (SRV's Double Trouble), Drums, and Mike Flanigin, Bass and Vocals. I've watched it several times, just can't get enough.......

His response? “Don’t be sorry, Lana. I love the Allman Brothers Band. If I could have gone, I would have too.” With that he picked up his guitar and played a beautiful acoustic version of Whipping Post that made me happier than the concert had.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2cCj0CAQk4

I watched Day One yesterday, the entire 6-1/2 hours. REALLY worth your time, and one of the better Crossroads shows I have seen, especially if you happen to be a fan of The Tedeschi/Trucks Band. Eric Clapton obviously recognizes the intense greatness of this band, because TTB starts right around the 5 hour mark and they finish at 6:30. That's right, a 90 minute set. If you've seen all the Crossroads shows like me, you know that NO band, or any other artist for that matter, has ever got anything remotely close to a 90 minute time slot. Add in some awe-inspiring TTB sit-ins by Trey Anastasio, John Mayer, and the Man himself, Mr. Clapton. Another highlight: Right around the 4:30 mark, Billy Gibbons & The BFG Band delivered a blistering set of ZZ Top tunes. BFG includes Chris Layton (SRV's Double Trouble) on drums and Mike Flanigin on bass/vocals. My advice: DON'T MISS THIS ONE. Here's Day Two, which I'm just getting into, and it's even longer at 7-1/2 hours. ENJOY........

On the morning of September 26, 2004 something wonderful happened on the rooftop of the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta.

The ABB were playing a 3-night run, Sept. 24 - 26, at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Many members of the band and many fans were staying at the Georgian Terrace or close by. Saturday afternoon Oteil and I had the idea that maybe, just maybe, we could figure out 1) how to get to the roof of the hotel and 2) how to get people to join us there for a sunrise service Sunday morning. Finding the rooftop was fairly easy. Then we drew up and, early Sunday morning, taped up directional signs showing people the way.

Getting the word out was a little harder given the short time frame between Saturday afternoon and 9:00 Sunday morning. So we talked to people, who talked to people, and waited on the roof Sunday morning for them to show up. Which they did!

I honestly can't tell you how many ... a dozen? 20? I was kind of overwhelmed with happiness. There were no scripts, no rehearsed lines. Everything said came straight from the heart. Including Kirk shaking his head saying (from memory), "I thought I'd seen it all with this band ... and then there's the two of you."

Here is what Peach Corps member Josh Chasin wrote in the Forum about the Sunrise Service on the Roof: "10/24/2004 jchasin For the select few of us who were able to drag our happy but over-extended butts out of bed early enough, Sunday began with a 9 AM prayer circle led by Lana and Oteil, in a square on the roof of the Georgian Terrace hotel. Beautiful blue Georgia sky above, the Atlanta skyline all around, the city still, a brisk but gentle breeze hinting at the Indian summer day that was ahead. Cleansing, redemptive, and non-denominational. People can you feel it, love is everywhere. Say amen, brother Oteil."

Thank you, Josh, for sharing your beautiful thoughts and to Peach Corps member Lefty Collins for sharing his photo.
