This is definitely partial; the show was 2 sets, I believe Duane’s Tune closed set 1, and IMOER opened set 2. The set list resembled the other sets from around the same time.
It was indeed billed as a GA&F show. THe Dreams box set was just out, and I gather the band reconvened in support of that release. This was the first time I saw Allen Woody, Johnny Neel, and most memorably, Warren Haynes.
My 35th birthday. This show was part of the JVC Jazz Festival — and I believe it was originally billed as just Gregg Allman. This show wasn’t scheduled to start until 11pm. It was an incredible performance in a beautiful hall. 2 comments o
