My old man the morning after my bachelor party.

a: "Why are you doing this, _______?"
b: "______ ______ is my friend."
a: "Hell, I've got a lot of friends."
b: "I don't."

Or

"Isn't that just like a Wop? He brings a knife to a gunfight."

Chris - Yea, you got it on both ends.

One of my favorite flicks, with my favorite actor Paul Newman. The man makes some pretty darn good popcorn too! Now that's talent

Tom Waits was the actor.

Right on. My favorite scene was where he put the pistol in the dead guy's mouth (and pulled the trigger) in order to intimidate the weasely accountant.

How about the little conversation? Where's that from - a classic "modern" western.

Here's another one . . . "the deadliest pistoleer since Wild Bill, they say. What do you think? Should I hate him?"

And a twofer:

"And what would you do with the big, big money? Have you not everything you need? If you desire a motorcar, you pluck one from the lines. If you want pretty polly, you take it."

"Did your mother have any children that lived?"

TAGGART: What in the wide, wide world of sports is a going on here? I hired you people to try to get a little track laid, not to jump around like a bunch of Kansas City faggots!

TAGGART: Listen dummy, the surveyors say they may have run into some quicksand up ahead. Better check it out.
LYLE: OK I'll send down a team of horses to check out the ground.
TAGGART: Horses??! (smacks him) Well, we can't afford to lose no horses, you dummy! Send over a couple of niggers.
