We've never been here before, but the 25th is Miss Thang's birthday and the site says any age unless otherwise noted. I read about it being an old mill building, sounds like a cool place. Any info about this venue would be appreciated.

Masquarade Music Park is an enclosed "back yard". It's behind a three level building of clubs. Anna and I saw the Mule there last year too. I saw the original trio there in 99 or 2000. Good place for shows,I think. We actually may be bringing 5 year old Hoopee Jam veteran, Reese this year.

Hope to run in to ya!

Billy

Does this venue have any seating, or does everyone stand the entire time?

The wife and I saw them a few years ago at the Masquerade back yard! It was a great venue, and great time! I was very hot close to the stage though. We moved back as we were getting ready to leave, and the sound/temp was much better towards the back. Have fun!

No seating, it's on a slight hill with the stage at the bottom. Last year the weather was great, seeing old friends and making new ones was fantastic, the music was blazing and seeing Warren playing a Strat on Woke Up This Morning>Fortunate Son with Dumpstapunk during the aftershow was priceless. At first there were a bunch of us the rail in front of Andy and Danny. Unfortunately there were a bunch of pushy, intoxicated college age kids all around us but once a couple of us moved back it was a much nicer vibe.

What's keeping me away this year has nothing to do with the venue or the crowd, there were a few things that happened to me before and after the show that left an overall bad memory for that trip.

We're not crossing the 38th parallel are we?

Hey, I'm hoping we can bring in camper type chairs, if not will definitely bring a towel to sit on the ground, it is likely to be very hot, but the lineup is not to be missed. Anybody going to the Bham show, might drive over for that one on Thurs.
