The local NPR station, WXPN 88.5 has added a show Monday nights at 8:00 PM that is called "Jam Nation". It is right before the Grateful Dead Hour. The show is awesome, and extremely Allmans friendly. Tonight the featured jam was "Instrumental Illness" backed up by "Afro-Blue" from Derek Trucks' new album. THey also played some Phish, Bela Fleck, Galactic, and Little Feat. Added in were some brief comments from Oteil and Derek recorded when the Brothers were here two weeks ago. Mainly they talked about how quickly the album came together, and they expect the next one to be "heftier" because they are already thinking about which direction they are going in.

I beleive this can be streamed at XPN.org on Monday nights.

I hope it can be streamed as I only listen to the radio when I'm driving.

We didn't see any of the show, and the way the Tweeter is configured, you can't even hear it. Sell out crowd tho. I have a friend who went, so I'll ask him.
