At grandma's house. I have been looking for an original for quite some time, and have recently been using a good reproduction that Haisija sent me. I have been watching e-bay and thinking about shelling out some bucks, but my mom told me to go and check Grandmas house before I did that. So I went there with my friend and went though her basement and many plastic medicine bottle, wine bottles, etc. My hopes were dying down when I picked up an old writing desk and opened it up and low and behold, a glass coricidin bottle with a snap lid and red and white wrapper still around it! Just sitting there. It had some glitter inside and was with some other art supplies. This has been my find of the week! I am so happy and it sounds great! It is way different than all of my reproductions! All of the reproductions are for the most part pyrex and too large and not actual copies. The real thing is better. Now I just need to find some more.

Me too, my 90 year Aunt just arrived from NJ. I need to ask her and my parents. They keep everything.

Sure glad I stumbled on this post. It reminded me of my dad buying lots of coricidin (decongestant) for allergies when I was growing up. I was able to turn up 5 of them at my folks house this week; 3 have most or part of the original label & all have the caps. Hoping there are a few more still out in the garage. Amazing, really, that they are still there. We moved 8 times, 4 states, ~2500 miles in when I was kid, and that was many years ago. Now to try to get one of them to sing.

Hey Bob... Cool story. It's amazing is it not.... the things or objects we've managed to hold onto for all of these years?

Hope you are well.
