The tyrany of the powerful at work

I'm sure you've heard the phrase that history is written by the victors. Freedom to express diverse opinion will really be put to the test if one party wins a super majority in congress this year. Should be interesting.

We're given two choices, moderate right or far right, and can argue back and forth between the two forever. It's called "divide and conquer".

Ii think it's possible to have a viable third party one day if we all unite, but I just don't see anyone from the ten or twenty parties having a realistic chance at the 'brass ring'

I think it will take a whole lot more than just the people uniting.
The revolution will not be televised!

How can you take a party seriously who would nominate Cynthia McKinney for president? She's nuttier than Bob Barr.

You stole my line. I was going to say: "You can't take the Green Party serious, their main candidate has the three Georgia P's. She's got a Peanut for a brain, a Pecan sized intellect, and she looks like she ate a really green Peach."

Thinking...how could a third or fourth or fifth party candidate get their message out? Cheapest way would be internet video clips, but you are still limiting your message. TV time costs money. Public financing is a 50/50 match. No one is going to give you donation money unless they at first know who you are.
