OK, we know it will be a Duane era release, but when are we going to get it? Any more hints as to the date and place? Anything?, not much time left for an August release. Anyone with any info please feel free to answer.

I was really hoping for a chuch or five man era release. But hey, how can you not want some new duane? Maybe it will be something from early 70, 69, or one of duane's last shows.

It's known for sure that it will be a Duane era release?? Sweet!

HTN has done a nice job with its archive releases -- with the two most recent ones, Boston Common and the 5/70 Georgia Terrace version of Mtn. Jam and DWYNK/NMCTB (that wasn't an HTN release actually), I'd like to see a different era of the band covered

somebody in the know how said that it was in another new archival release forum. Can't remember exactly who it was... I really want a win/lose/or draw era release from 1976.

One of the HTN guys said it was in another thread... JNB maybe? I'll try to find it.

this is reduntant but i have really fallen in love with the
last HTN Archive release- 8/17/71 Boston Commons...
this is an ususal show and took a while to grow on me, but is now amongst my favorites.......Brother Berry is exorting and leading the pack...
Gregg is in great voice and some funky keys......
check out the machine gun drums on DKMW....
Duane is hot and juicey on both the LP and the SG......
a really hot YDLM.....Dickey is pickin' away.....
a really great show, with a lot of character and individuality....
always looking forward to more Duane in the future......

The archive release I am playing all the time is the Nassau 73 show. Liz Reed, Ramblin Man, Wasted Words, Jessica and that wonderful version of Mountain Jam. Love what Lamar and Chuck added to the sound, still my favorite lineup.

Gary how do you think the YDLM from this show "compares with" 9/17 Dayton -- I think I recall your being familiar with that show...Duane and Dickey do their thing & more on this one from Boston
good post, 8/17 stands right there w/the other killer shows from this period (Aug.-Sept.) -- HTN rocks

Christ, what's the big secret anyhow?

The cats out of the bag that it is a Duane show (here comes the set in stone setlist)
so even if the band rejects it, just let us know what the F it is/was.

People are gonna buy it anyway, so just tell us from where.

man

At this point, maybe they should do what the Dead did, and turn Kirk's tape vault
over to Rhino to clean up and take care of.

Then Rhino can release these every 4 - 6 months and everyone is happy ...

Rhino has nothing to do with increasing the number of archives released.

What's the 5/70 Georgia Terrace show? Was it released like the Atlanta Pop recordings were on another way besides HTN's archival releases?
