I see that Doyle Bramhall at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 18 February has added Rich Robinson as special guest.

I still cannot see many tickets shifting at £30 ish!

Tedeschi Trucks Band at Indigo O2 for Bluesfest on 7 November (Same night / time as Dave Matthews - would have though there would have been a lot of cross-over fans there, so not great planning methinks!)

O2 priority starts Weds 9:30am. Public onsale Friday.

As it's a Saturday, I could be tempted to put up with Susan to go hear Derek again if the price is right.

Some German/Danish dates on Ticketmaster at 47 - 85 Euro. If that's reflected in UK prices, no thanks.

IndigO2 is a fantastic venue for them - so much better than the RAH.

On a Saturday, the trains should be running later too.

That's ridiculous putting them both on the same night, I want to go to both! Given the choice I'm going for TTB over DMB but it seems ludicrous to lose ticket sales like that.

I went for Kings Row too.

It's a great viewpoint with huge comfy seats and worth paying extra for (unlike the nosebleed, side of stage seat I had at the RAH last time!).

Just booked a ticket for TTB. Got a Kings Row seat. booked a room at the Epsilon Hotel on the other side of the river. Stayed at the Antigallican for Mule last year, it was ok, but basic, so gone a little upmarket this time.

got tickets for TTB.. some weird Bluesfest though.. Dave Matthews Band?? Cant see them filling the O2. They might be huge ticket sellers in the USA but no one over here has heard of them, plus the wildly average Jo Harman...?
It'll be interesting to see who they have on day 2.

"Hello fellow Family and Friends of Sandy (Denny): It's been wonderful to read all the support and enthusiasm here, over upcoming activity surrounding Sandy: Mick Houghton's wonderful biography, the 4-disc box set being released by Universal, next month, etc.

And, as Universal have been encouraging Pat (Donaldson), Gerry (Conway) and me to put a sort of 'Fotheringay revisited' unit together as an aid in promoting all of this, we've done just that, and have some wonderful guests with us in Kathryn Roberts (of Equation, KR and Sean Lakeman), Sally Barker (The Poozies and The Voice), and PJ Wright (The Dylan Project, The Steve Gibbons Band, PJW and Dave Pegg). This is most exciting to all of us involved in the three projects and we now have the following confirmed dates on our calendars:

June 2015

Wednesday 17th: The Bridgewater Halls, Manchester
Thursday 18th: The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal
Friday 19th: Under the Bridge, London
Saturday 20th: Lowdam Festival, Notts
Sunday 21st ?
Monday 22nd: The Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool
Tuesday 23rd: The Carneigie Hall Dunfermline

These have been arranged in the only 8 day period that was free to all six of us, since we do have quite different agendas and schedules from one another. But we're treating this very seriously and it gives us an exciting opportunity to relive this wonderful side of Sandy's music that, I believe, no one else has covered in all these years. I hope we get close enough to you and you'll be able to join us in a wonderful evening of Sandy's unique and beautiful songs. Besides the two Fotheringay albums, we will also be doing a few selections from Sandy's solo works and, of course Trevor's selections sung by PJ.

Cheers! Jerry Donahue"

Looking forward to seeing this at Stamford Bridge.

I'm glad he's recovering .. but i wont be rushing to see him play. His stuff does nothing for me. People say Bonamassa overplays.. Trout makes him look like Bert Weedon when it comes to that!
Turgid stuff in my book.

I'm not a big fan, Al, and won't be seeing him but he does have a lot of followers.

He's fine for a £15 evening of live Blues at the Beaverwood club or somewhere and his band is very good (if positively the ugliest assembly of musicians you could fear seeing!).

Anyone else going to see King King at the Borderline on 5 March?

Cheers Gordon, been a couple of years since I saw MMJ and their last two albums haven't done much for me, but they've never been less than wonderful live. Manchester Ritz looks favourite here I reckon. Festival promoters these days seem to keep the daily lineups under their hats for as long as possible so that might explain the strange look to these tour dates?

Bluesfest additions - Tom Jones and Van Morrison (wtf?), but the good news for you Londoners is that Matt Schofield is at Brooklyn Bowl on 8th November.

It's unlikely that anyone doesn't have it but Amazon are offering the two-disc With A Little Help From My Friends by Govt Mule for £7.16.

It would be unthinkable not to own this at that price!

Happy Seventh Birthday to this thread!!!!

Since it kicked off with a Terry Reid gig, I'll mention that he's at the Half Moon, Putney on 21 May and, by strange coincidence, is followed the next night by The Doors Alive.

Great Mule show last night over here in the Netherlands (De Boerderij (= The Farm), Zoetermeer).
Venue was sold out. I think it was the first time i saw the Mule selling out a venue over here in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. But if remembered correctly other shows in Germany were sold out in the past too).

And one of the facts that i love going to Mule shows as much as possible is that although this was my 17nd Mule show they still played 7 songs i haven't see them play before. THAT diverse their setlists still are.

SET 1:

Steppin' Lightly >
Any Open Window
Inside Outside Woman Blues
Game Face (with Mountain Jam & Norwegian Wood teases)
Banks Of The Deep End
Birth Of The Mule (with Money For Nothing tease)
Forsaken Savior
Kind Of Bird (with Happy Together & The Wind Cries Mary teases)

SET 2:

Scared To Live
Funny Little Tragedy
If Heartaches Were Nickels
Painted Silver Light >
Drums >
Forevermore
Slackjaw Jezebel > with Hush Intro
Hush >
Slackjaw Jezebel

ENCORE:
Come On Into My Kitchen >
