Just noticed they rereleased this! I have been looking for it for years, mainly at used CD stores. Amazon always had it for like 70 bucks. One question itunes has for 5.99, but it states that this is the clean version, what is the clean version? Any ideas or is it just a safe guard?

You can down load it from itunes now. So I am guessing you should be able to purchase it every where!

I downloaded it from itunes last month, and it sounds great.

The "clean" version has the s-word edited out from Don't Step on the Grass, Sam.

I opted for the "dirty" version.

I believe so. To me it doesnt matter if its clean or dirty, Its only $5.99, and the show is amazing. Warren and Allen were on fire.

When you listen to Woody tear through it and it sounds big and you feel it rattle around; its timeless and makes you forget about the lapse of time.

Speaking of clean v dirty, first of all I think its weak they'd censor that song of all songs; but second is there a clean v dirty High and Mighty too? Like Flies on my copy doesn't say **** it sounds more like ship but not by voice. Did Mule edit it or Itunes? I got an email saying it was being put out normally too.
Peace

I agree about the censorship subject. Maybe, it's the only way they could get it released, who knows. At least the "dirty" version is still there.

Which dirty version are you talking about? I only see a clean version of Roseland, I am trying to hold out and buy the dirty version. I don't like the idea of censoring, who knows what else is missing.

The evil teen (record company) web site states the official release date for Live at the Roseland Ballroom is 5/1 with bonus material. So maybe thats when I can get the Dirty version.

What's the tune they play towards the end of "Trane"? They play it real slow, crowd goes crazy and it gets faster as they go along. It's on the tip of my tongue but I just can't place it (and it's driving me crazy)!

St. Stephen, a nod to the recently departed Jerry Garcia. St. stephen jams would turn up at a few ABB shows in '96, usually during Liz Reed or True Gravity.

No way. Have you heard some of the stuff released? For example Who Are You and Dr. Jimmy by the Who? If anything it must because the Mule is now acknowledging their underage fans (like my little Mulegirl) although she is quite familiar with the "S" word.
