Ok kids, I need your input. Whaddya think? What's the proper spelling? For some reason I prefer Whoo Hoo ( with the "h" after the "w")...but I'll go with the majority.

Whoo hoo should be pronounced Hoo hoo and what you're trying to sound like is Woo Hoo right? So Woo Hoo is my vote.

Wow...I have to think this over because it's also going to affect
how I spell Pooh Poo. Decisions, decisions!

Whoo hoo is the word my mom always used for "female genitalia' in conversation.

I'd go with woo hoo.

I think I'd go with Woo Hoo...

...or for even more emphasis you can increase the O's and say Woooooo Hooooooo!...but two O's would be the minimum.

Even stranger than Woo Hoo is the word "Whoa!"...like when you want a horse to stop quickly. Why is it Whoa! and no just Wo!...I'm sure one of you crazies knows the answer.

So lets see we've got Woo, Hoo, Wo, Whoa, wee wee ...You can sure tell its Friday.

Dave, did your Mom put this in writing? I'm just curious how you knew how she spelled it. Or did she pronounce it "Who Who"?

I love a woman that shouts "W(h)oo hoo" regarless of how it's spelled.

Kee-hee!

Jacquie, I'd go with a hyphenated "woo-hoo." Or for shouting a big one, I'd modify Eddie's suggestion: I elongate the "hoo" but not the "woo," so "woo-hoooooo!"

"Whoa" is cool, and I think it's funny how many people spell it "Woah." That would be two syllables rhyming with "Noah."

. . . Hey, I just looked up "whoa" in the dictionary, and here's where it comes from:
"ME [Middle English] whoo, who."

No disrepect intended, but I do believe that this thread does indeed proove what high minded folks we all are.

I've always leaned towards YEOW (pronounced yow) myself but that is totally irrelevant to this discussion.

As far as who who (however you spell it) being an aconym for female genitalia, I do know of a man who refers to his genitalia as his "tee tee". I suspect this, too, comes from his mother.
