Here is the thread you can nominate the "Best Preshow Party of the Year" for the upcoming 2005 Peachies. Feel free to reference as many Preshow Parties as necessary. If someone already nominated a Preshow Party you feel is Peach worthy, go ahead and second that nomination.

We'll take nominations for the next two and half weeks (until November 9th). A few days before the official voting period (November 15 to November 26), the presenter of this award and I will pick the 5 or 6 Preshow Parties that received the most nominations so we can include them on the official ballot. Try and keep this bumped for the next week or so to garner as many nominations as possible. Happy nominating

I love the Sweeties, but this year Scotty and the left coasters out did themselves.

I vote for Scotty and the left coasters.

Even thought they high jacked Wharfy to help and I didnt' get my cheese fries.

I'd like to nominate Wharfy's pre-show gathering at PNC on August 23, 2005. It was a great time.

And yes, Scotty totally outdid himself this year and is totally deserving.

The Potter's Atlanta 10/1. If everyone in that group photo votes for this party it will win by a landslide! Thanks again Barb & Greg!

1. The Leftcoasters 3/19/05 amazing Jello shot festival complete with a Raffle-icious fund raising mania, and the Beacon Jam-orama with loads of Peachy musicians and overall good vibeyness of that awesome day/night at the Beacon.

2. No question - the summer Love-fest of Wharfstock 2005 - What a day! - we accept no substitutes.

With all due respect to the Beacon parties (and they deserve the respect), this year I have to go with the Potter's Atlanta pre-show. Truly an inspiring event in one of the most beautiful settings in Atlanta.

I think Bobofest '05 should be considered an event not a pre-show party. All of those flamingoes gathering in one place at the same time....it's an event.

I didn't get to go to any of the pre-show parties this year (DOH!!!!!!!!! )

So I don't know if my vote counts, but I've heard a ton of good vibes about Chuck's "WharfStock" at PNC. So I'll throw one vote in the ring for that. Great fun for all.

Maggie,

I like the way you think and it's hard to disaagree, but I am going with the ATL preshow at the Potters and the tailgate at the venue. Kind of like 2 preshows in one.

Well, I would have had 2 nominations, but I failed to get to one of the preshows before the actual show started.

1. 3/18 Sweeties Jello pre party and auction

2. Wharfstock. but I never got there! Just on hearsay!

I didn't get the chance to go to many pre-show parties this year...but, my nomination will have to go to:

Karen & Lynn's St. Paddy's Day Beacon Pre-Show Party!!!

I met so many cool folks(in person) for the first time at that party...it will always have a place in my heart. Thanks Karen and Lynn!

Oh yeah, I can't forget all the good times at YOGI'S before EVERY Beacon show.

HEY CHUCK...YA WANT ANOTHER SHOT!?!
