I have a great sounding ABB 7.11.90 show but it is TAO. How can I get rid of this and convert to DAO. I have EAC and Nero. In EAC I tried to correct it but ended up with the whole album as one track. I am trying all kinds of different things with no luck.
Thanks
Rob

One suggestion would be to find another source that hasn't been harmed by the dreaded TAO.

Destroy the tainted discs so they don't spread.

This usually works...

(using EAC)

Once you have extracted the disc, go to "Tools menu >process WAV.
This brings up the folder box. Find the folder the show is in, and select the 1st track .It will load the song into memory. Then go to "edit menu" and choose "select all"
Then go to the "process file" menu and go to 'Remove>Leading and ending silence" Once it processes that, go to the file menu and choose save. You have to do this for every track. Then burn and see if it is any better.

Hey Chuck after playing with EAC I figured that out. Copy selected tracks it copies each track. then like you said go into wave editor and remove beginning and ending silence.

Looks like you got it

Sometimes you get little "clicks".

Sometimes.
