A tidbit of info for the Dylan fans among us...sorry if it was posted already. Should be pretty cool - he doesn't do many of these.

Bob Dylan will appear on "60 Minutes," in his first television interview in 19 years. He spoke with correspondent Ed Bradley while on tour in Northampton, Mass. His interview will be broadcast on Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Eddie, you ever notice how sometimes when Ed Bradley does a piece on a music personality, he gets pulled onstage during a club performance to whack a tambourine or something? Do you think Dylan will have Ed up there reciting some lyrics?

I recently threw out an old New Yorker magazine that had a satirical piece about Dylan as a game show host. The name of the show was "What's Bob Saying?". Contestants were allowed to listen to Bob say something. The first contestant to hit the buzzer and repeat what he had just said won the round. I howled.

There was a big interview with Dylan in Newsweek about 2 months (?) ago. Along with it was an excerpt from his book - I had a real hard time following it....................until I just broke it up into songs......... - just the excerpt would have been good for 2, maybe 3 albums.

Eleven minutes to go. That's enough time for one more post and to set up for the show! Make that 10 minutes to go.

Sorry--no time to proofread this one.

The Zimmie interview will be the third story of the hour, so it won't be on until after 6:30 CST.

Saw the interview, impression I got was that Dylan was a pretty much normal guy who was smart enough not to buy into all the "voice of his generation" bullsh*t that was thrown his way. Forty plus years into it, he still doesn't seem to understand what all the fuss was about, maybe that's why he stay as good as he is. Certainly some lessons can be learned there.
