experiences It's like a game, I supposse, to help learn more about each other. Intresting things, for example: I lost my ass in Las Vegas.

I dropped a stink bomb in 8th grade that caused classes to be cancelled. I was punished with in-school suspension, which meant I had to sit with some nun in a computer room full of TRS-80s, cleaning and doing chores. I would rather have had the out of school suspension.

Once met Ike Willis former Zappa vocalist and sideman and had him call a buddy on the phone prior to a concert and break his balls for not coming to the show.

I also met former runaways Joan Jett and Cherie Currie on different occasions.

Very nice folks, Cherie rules.

My dad lost my glasses in the Missouri River. I was 12 and about as nearsighted as I am now (quite), and when I was done waterskiing behind my uncle's boat, my dad reached over to pull me back aboard, and my glasses went down to the murky depths.

The Army Corps of Engineers found this channel catfish near the Yankton Dam later that summer.

It was the first time I had been without my glasses since my eyes had started their precipitous decline at age 7. The next day I had an eye exam in downtown Omaha. My family was quite late picking me up afterwards, and with my eyes dilated, I couldn't read any of the mags in the office.

So I decided to go outside for a walk. It was a blindingly sunny afternoon. I was staggering down the sidewalks of downtown Omaha for about a half-hour--unable to focus, and unable to open my dilated eyes more than a slit, anyway--until I heard a familiar car horn.

I rode a horse around a ball field at the fastest gallop we could muster, right as the caretakers just finished prepping it for a game. Boy were they mad!! They started chasing me with their rakes and yelling things in foreign languages I didn't understand. I stopped at the end of the field and waved to them, then galloped off.....

I flew in the Concorde from New York to Paris at Mach 2. Total trip time from boarding the plane in NYC to disembarking in France was 2 hours and 58 minutes.

I ate at an IHOP in Atlanta, sitting across the table from Jaimoe after a gig late one night....around 1983? 1984? (I don't remember)..... He was in a band that a good friend of mine was in at the time. It was trippy! :-)

I barfed on the stage of my high school gym after giving blood at a blood drive, my first time to give blood.

I took chest x-rays of Michael Stipe's grandma at the hospital I worked at, here in Athens. He was in the hallway with his dad and sister when I left to go home. Unfortunately, she passed away about 3 days later.
And one time, he bumped into me at the Junkman's Daughter's Brother store downtown....He was real nice and said excuse me...then wished me a Merry Christmas. I was surpirsed...I always heard he was an **** .

I had a skunk as a pet. I also had a duck, a dog and a rabbit living in my dorm room in college.

When I was 16 I worked at the Zoo. I was responsible for directing people to the events tent. If they need to know where the bathrooms where I was suppose to tell them. My boss told me if important people wanted to use the bathroom send them to the nice new building. All the caterers go to the porti pots that where located next to the dumpsters. The mayor and his wife arrived at the party. During the event, the mayor's wife asked me where the bathrooms where. I had to direct her to the cheep stinky porti pots. There is a taste of reality for the wealthy.

I run into Willard Scott every few weeks - with and without the wig, most often without.
He's one of the locals here in Marshall, VA.

I saw an aircraft carrier in the middle of the desert back in the 1970's.
At least that's what it looked like, as we made it around a bend in the Suez Canal and I looked back....

I got beat up (my own fault though) in Biloxi, MS.

I married a woman "out of my league."
