Jaimoe just posted "On my way to Macon and looking forward to seeing my old friend Richard. "

Music aside, tonight could be a magic moment nearly 20 years in the making: Dickey sharing the stage (or the room of a venue, at the very least) with an original member. I'm excited for everyone in Macon tonight going to see these two brothers.

Here is to that happening.

Hoping they all get together at Peachfest as well. The Sunday Dickey plays, Govt Mule and Oteil and Friends are scheduled to play as well. And you have to believe Jaimoe will stick around an extra day to as well. I get goose bumps thinking about it. Beacon and Peachfest this summer!

Macon baby!

Fantastic photo from (what looks like) Watkins Glen I'd never seen before -- how great is it Jaimoe having a play w/Dickey back where it all began -- last time they were there, probably the Don Kirschner show in Sept. 1973, just a few months after this photo

I was in Macon and it was highlight of my concert going life to see Jaimoe and Dickey on stage after 18 years

Jaimoe looks like he was moonlighting as an NFL free safety in that picture.
