"They"?...."Still"?

"If Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr hit the road, could they call themselves the Beatles"?

Thoughts?

Paul and Ringo could fill baseball stadia as "Paul and Ringo". Pete and Roger could not as "Pete and Roger". They need to be called The Who to draw at full potential. And I believe they've earned it and then some.

Looks like Zak is still plaing drums. I thought Pino Palladino usually was the bass player, was not him as far as I could tell. I always like to watch him play bass the way he kind of bobs and nods his head .

Showing a 50+ year old song STILL rocks !

Should they, shouldn't they, The Who - that horse not only has been beaten to death on these very boards, it has decomposed and has provided fertilizer for countless trees, plants, whom themselves have since died.

Long live The Fu%@€king Who !

Long live Pete and Roger !

And Long Live Rock !

YEAH! I still like to play music. I don't sound like I used to, although I never sounded anywhere near as good as Pete and Roger do NOW! And for me, they rocked the house on that show. I bet I've listened to Who's Next more times than any other album. I've owned the LP, the 8 track, the cassette, and every cd version. Don't think I could ever get tired of it because I feel like I did when I was 16 every time I hear it. Makes me want to bust up some beer bottles against the wall and I don't even drink. It's primal beauty.
