Of course, no mention of what shape the economy was in when Obama came into office 8 years ago.............right after the complete collapse of the American financial system under George W. Bush.

Id say Obama left the house in much better shape than how he received it. I'm sure the same WON'T be said of trump, when he leaves.

In Obama we had an anemic economy and the slowest recovery from a recession in U.S. history.
Obama couldn't even attain a GDP rate of over 2% which is considered weak.

The Fed. John Williams was appointed by Obama. Of course he would say "back to normal".

Time to seek a creditable source.

But Emperor Trump said he inherited a mess. He also uses the word "disaster" almost daily to describe these things that he has to deal with. Fact of the matter is that Trump IS A DISASTER.

His approval ratings are at somewhere in the 36 to 39%.

The failed Trump presidency has taken all of the things that helped the recovery and trashed them. We are headed for another disaster unless the criminal Trump gets impeached.

Do those "approval ratings" come from the same polling sources that all said Hillary Clinton would win the election?

I thought so. The corrupt liberal media owns you.

Typical left-wing loon line.
Every time one of the mouthpieces on the left screams for President Trump's impeachment they are unable to cite the crime.

As usual you have nothing more that liberal talking points and no facts.

You have nothing.

pops knowledge is on par with Nancy Pelosi.
The disgraced former Speaker (removed from that post by The American People) also said President Trump should be impeached even though he has committed no crime.

Note to pops and Pelosi. You cannot impeach a President because you don't like them.
Just do as you usually do; throw a temper tantrum.

Under President Trump, Consumer Confidence Soars:

March Consumer Confidence Index Hits 16-Year High
By Douglas A. McIntyre March 28, 2017 10:50 am EDT

The Conference Board has released its latest monthly consumer confidence numbers. March’s Consumer Confidence Index reached 125.6 in March, up from 116.1 in February. The index is based on a figure of 100 established in 1985.

The Conference Board’s two other primary monthly indexes also rose. The Present Situation Index rose from 134.4 in February to 143.1, and the Expectations Index increased from 103.9 last month to 113.8. The present situation is defined as “current conditions,” while the expectations index covers a “short-term” outlook.

Lynn Franco, Director of Economic Indicators at the Conference Board, said:
Consumer confidence increased sharply in March to its highest level since December 2000 (Index, 128.6). Consumers’ assessment of current business and labor market conditions improved considerably. Consumers also expressed much greater optimism regarding the short-term outlook for business, jobs and personal income prospects. Thus, consumers feel current economic conditions have improved over the recent period, and their renewed optimism suggests the possibility of some upside to the prospects for economic growth in the coming months.

Several other factors of consumer confidence rose as well. The percentage of respondents who said business conditions are “good” rose from 28.3% to 32.2%, the Conference Board numbers showed. The research also indicated that the percentage of consumers stating jobs are “plentiful” rose from 26.9% to 31.7%.

In terms of forward-looking data, consumers expect business conditions will improve over the next six months, with that percentage rising from 23.9 in February to 27.1.

Consumers were also more optimistic about the jobs market. Those who expected “more jobs in the months ahead” rose from 20.9% last month to 24.8% for March.

The Conference Board, a division of Nielsen, issues numbers once a month. For March, the cutoff date was the 16th.

Nothing ever stops and starts over when one President leaves and another enters.

Maybe economic growth early in the Clinton years was a result of planning under the HW Bush administration. Economic meltdown fell on Obama's lap after W Bush left office, talk about a mess to inherit! While the recovery was slow and not as large as some may have liked or thought by some comparable measure, by the time Obama left office relative economic situation certainly wasn't bad and some would say it may've been pretty good. In terms or your own experiences and people you talk with and meet, real world interaction, not abstract numbers measuring this or that.

So that momentum has carried forward to Trump's early days.

I do think that opponents of Trump would have purposefully ignore that there is genuine optimism felt in the business sector that has stemmed from the Trump election, which may be adding fuel to the economy. The key is going to be if optimism is met with related tangible actions.

And then, just as every President faces, most likely there will be some unforeseen global or national situation that causes pause and changes everything. The Trump era economy hasn't been tested yet.

The citizens and the business community are very excited about President Trump's tax reform plan.
Discounting the political rhetoric of the left everyone wants it done.

Will the Democrats work for the people and our countries' companies (the employers) or will they go for a political "win" (which of course is a loss for the people)?
