I just got up in the UK to find this link but unfortunately Anthony's account has been suspended due to too much traffic ... I will try again later ... such a wonderful epitaph for Butch to have another Duane era show come to light after all these years ... well done Anthony ...

Colin,

I'm trying to email you the files with wetransfer(.com). I hope it works. These recordings are simply awesome.
They could have been a ABB archive release. They are that good! A great find in this dark, dark week.

Cheers,

Roger

email received ... thanks very much Roger ...

Anthony ... does the kind person who sent you these files have the original WAV version? ... if so, I wonder if he would send you those or at least a FLAC compression rather than MP3 because FLAC will convert back to WAV with no loss of audio?

All the best,
Colin.

I burned the MP3 files to disc and listened on my stereo; this sounds great for a 1970 show, even in MP3.

If anyone can't download, I'll be glad to do a B+P for you. Send me a PM.

Wayne hit the nail on the head; I thought of Capt. Skipper as I listened to the show last night, too.

One of the more interesting Liz Reed's from the original six. Love the interplay near end of Duane's solo. Dreams also has an ending I had not heard before.

That would be awesome. Please get a FLAC or WAV file to MasahikoYamaura so he can remaster this great find.
He already did magic with recordings in the past!

This whole thread brightens my day -- spreading the religion Duane spoke of the night before he died (in Red Dog's recollections) -- not since the 1997 uncovering of 9/16/71 Warehouse such an exciting find
in P,L & no tech, it doesn't play when I click & makes no diff anyway as the living room stereo is where I listen to music -- hopefully it makes its way to the trades section
Again P&L -- this show arriving w/the brother's departure......RIP, bro Butch

Thanks to everyone involved in finding these tapes and making them available. I'm really enjoying the show this week.

If someone wants to burn CDs for Kirk, he'd appreciate it. Just spoke to him.
