The fourth and final (according to plan) Benjamin child was finally born today!

Christian Cole Benjamin was born at 12:16 PM early this afternoon - and weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

Both he and Mom (Jen) are doing really fine...

For those of you who have gone thru deliveries - let me tell you this was a relatively easy one - no epidural, 2 hours of labor and about 16 minutes of pushing...well, at least relatively easy from my male perspective!

This was the first time Jen had a baby at a hospital where she also works - kinda interesting to hear her and the delivery Doc discussing common patients right up to about 45 minutes before the birth, and we ended up hosting a pizza party for a bunch of the maternity and emergency room staff this evening....

I've got a bunch of pictures to download to the computer...I'll try to post a few in a day or so.

Well, biggest of congratulations to the Benjamin family!!!

That is just super.

To this day the happiest three moments of my life are saying "I do" to my wife and the birth of our children.

Couldn't be happier for you and yours.

Happy new baby! That is a good sized boy. I also found the delivery of our two children relatively easy, although after it was all over with the first one I did feel the need to lie down for a minute. Nothing like it. Keep the Thomas stuff handy!
