Recent faves, the b&w's of Pete Rozelle & KC Chiefs owner Hunt April 1 (post more often alloak ), and the late great Jack Kemp -- in that partly filled stadium, w/fans shading their eyes -- looks like Cookie Gilchrist missed his block...hehe

all those AFL QBs -- Kemp, Lamonica, Hadl, Dawson, Namath, Boston's Mike Taliaferro & veteran b/u Babe Parilli -- my gosh the road players like that paved for the billion-dollar industry it is today

Alan Page, 1/4 of the Prpl Pepl Etrs -- like Nick Buonticonti 1 of best at his position -- & 1 of smallest
Slammin b&w of Cleveland Browns legend Otto Graham
Jackie Smith & BillyBuck -- like Roy "Wrong Way" Riegels, Fred Merkle & others, remembered for flubs

Double X -- nuf said

Perhaps the most comical thing that I ever saw in a football game was a Garo Yeprmian failed field goal attempt. I can't remember the opposing team or even the year, but the play is etched into my memory. The snap was bad and the placeholder missed the ball. The ball went bouncing behind the kicker and place holder. Garo attempted to dive on the ball, but was caught in mid-air by one of the defensive players who then just tossed him to the right like a bag of potatoes (forerunner of the dwarf toss event?). He was certainly one of the great NFL place kickers, though!
