I could be a minority but I really liked the movie version of Tommy.

I was also a fan of Detroit Rock City, thought it was funny, not a KISS fan by any means tho.

I had high hopes for "The Doors," but the movie let me down. Too much of a hatchet job on Morrison IMO.

I liked it, but it was too much of the usual Oliver Stone overkill.
Made Jim out to be some kinda freak/animal.

Head (1968)

Forgot to include it in my first post. I was never much of a Monkees fan but I thought that movie was a lot of fun and it has held up pretty well to several viewings over the years. One of my guilty pleasures, perhaps!

Easily one of the best!!! Way better than Buddy Holly Story, Doors, That thing you do, etc.
Rock and Roll High School is so campy and perfect, it rules!!

Some of my faves:
Urgh
The Decline of Western Civilization
Candy Mountain
Band Slam
School Of Rock
Great Balls of Fire
