I like doing 5 album play lists on the ipod like i did when i had a 5 disc changer. otherwise i get too into shuffle and never really get into albums. I'm a little main stream this week since my wife is home on leave. So..... The new Jack Johnson, Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam and Willie Nelson ( to all the girls) and Govt Mule shout , all sound really good.

In the car, it;s Shout, Deer Tick - Negativity. I can't say enough about this young band from Providence R.I. They just really reached out and grabbed me with their sound and songs and over all attitude.

The new Band release sounds like a high quality sound board instead of a live album and I really liked rock of ages. this release adds a fresh perspective to those shows. I'm not a big Robbie fan but he did a great job on the mix.

Just digging into Garcia live vol 3. Legion of Mary. Some nice music in their . I think they selected these shows since Jerry's guitar has somewhat of a different sound to many recordings of this era to my ears. Also digging a younger California band called Dawes. took a few spins but they are growing on me. Comparable to Jackson Brown and early eagles. Neither of which I'm a fan of but these guys sound pretty cool.

I really need to check out the new Jack Johnson and Pearl Jam. Kings of Leon I feel I can pass on though I do like some of there older material. Agree on Deer Tick
