H. J. Resolution 15 was put forth January 3, 2013, to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, thereby allowing someone to hold the office of president for more than two terms.
It has now gone to the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice (1-25-13).
For those of you who claimed Bush was not going to vacate the White House after his second term, here's some evidence that Obama doesn't want to leave and is trying to get something done so he can stay as long as he gets re-elected.

And, like so many other crazy and stupid bills, that's where it will stay.

Let's hope so.

It keeps getting brought up by the same group of Dems. Maybe they hope it will be forgotten and just slip through.

And just as hilarious this time.

The not funny part is that there are members of congress that actually waste their time with such ridiculousness.

Never, because it is very hard to amend the constitution. Take a look at this:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/termlimits.asp

The same Democrat has introduced the same bill every 2 years since 1997, meaning in Bush's term as well. This has noting to do with Obama. Other Democrats and Republicans have introduced the same bill. It never goes anywhere.

Even if it did make it through congress (which is impossible), it would never be approved by 3/4ers of the state legislatures. And even if it did, by the time the process could be completed, Obama will be long out of office.

wonder if he would win again once Obamacare fully kicks in and everybody feels the pinch, sounds like many are already starting to.

Who knows? Three years away is a long time. I would hope that even if he was popular he wouldn't run, or that some other strong Democrat would run against him in the primary. One of the reason some politicians keep getting reelected is that nobody serious runs against an incumbent in a primary, and people won't cross party lines in a general election if the other person is too far to the right/left. I wouldn't vote for a third term for anyone (president/congressmen) if I have an acceptable choice. I think 2 terms is plenty.

He's not running. No matter what. Is. Not. Happening.

No indication Obama has anything to do with this.
