Hey y'all, those are some really good tabs for some very good ABB songs. I particularly like the tabs and verse for Desemona, one of my favorite songs on Hittin' the Note. Y'all do a good job on the tabs.

All of us guitarists are grateful for your work.

Peace Y'all..........

I don't really know keys. Emily guesses it's in F.

Oh, this is gonna be a pain, but I'll try it...

Sahib Teri Bandi

e-1-1-3-3-p1
B----------------3p1-4-6-4-3--------------------------------------
G--------------------------------3-5-5-3-5-7-5-3-3-2p3-0p1

B--3p1-------1-3-1
G--------3-3----------3-3

Yup, that was a pain. I figured this out while listening/jamming to Live at the Georgia Theatre.

And the CD player on this computer isn't working right, but I think the main theme of Maki Madni goes like this:

B--3p1--3-4-6-3-3-4-8-6-6---3p1---3-4-6-3-8-6-6
G-------3-------------------------------3-------------------

B-6-8-10-10-11-8-11-6-9-8-4-10-6-9-8-4---------

B-4-6-8-9-3-3-3p1
G--------------------------3-3

I'm not quite sure about the italicized bit, the rest I think is okay.

Never mind I figured it out. So I have a challenge for every one. Whats the trick of Dreams? and what are the chords? because the bass and organ are playing the same line over and over the verse section. The bass is playing the D C A run in 3 and the Organ is pedaling on a d sus4 so I thought originally it was going from dsus4 to d7 but then I really listened hard and the organ never changes. I think the trick lies in the notes the guitars are playing, they force our ears to hear a chord change by changing the top note but I could be wrong. Any thoughts/answers?

Yep it's in G. The chords are D7 to D11 and because of the D7 it's in G. I forgot why though.

Dreams actually is in D...

The scale you would want to use when soling in "Dreams" in the D Mixolydian mode or scale...D, E, F#, G, A, B, and C are the notes that make up D Mixolydian...

We discussed the Mixolydian mode a couple of pages back...check it out.

Does anybody know the tab to "Don't Want You No More". I think it's a basic 3 chord blues progression and they play the same lick on the I chord........or I could be wrong I don't have the best ear for learning licks from records.
