If you're watching this, well, you can't call it a debate, it's more like Biden went to the Kanye West school of debating without learning to say "I'm a gonna let ya finish--"
Ryan has tried to let Biden talk and not interrupt, but he's now trying to get his points across even with Biden breaking in about every sentence.
So far, I think Ryan has got him beat, if not just in actually trying to debate rather than argue.
The moderator quickly lost control of this thing.

I wholly agree, Jiltin' Joe is now arguing at the moderator. Loosing his cool real quick.

I would have punched Joe in the mouth by now. I could not handle watching it anymore. Biden keep interrupting and not letting Ryan say anything

Amazed by Biden's constant grunting, groaning, and interruptions during much of Ryan's time particularly when the fiscal issues were being discussed. He came off like a drunken blowhard. Biden is a total embarassment and I was expecting a much better performance from him, certainly more professionalism. I almost feel sorry for him.

Flipping over to sports now...

Just found out that the moderator's ex-husband was a law school buddy of Obama, Julius Genachowski, who just happens to be the head of the FCC.

And Biden is still going through a meltdown.

That was more than a little odd.

Joe represented his positions somewhat. But he did so coming off like an angry, sneering old man. The grin was so fake I thought it would just crack and fall off at some point. His frequent laughs and chuckles were often very out of place when in the midst of a serious topic. Overall he was very disrespectful. And throwing the intelligence community under the bus to save their political butts over Libya really showed low class.

Ryan might have been more courteous overall, but he didn't make his points as sharply as he needed to. He let himself get dragged into the weeds on some things that should have been portrayed in relation to bigger issues.

I'd say that Joe lost on demeanor, but it was a tie on content, with neither showing anything super special on any of the issues.

I guess it depends on what side you are on - I thought Joe did exactly what he needed to do..... he made it clear he wasn't going to let Ryan lie through
the debate like Romney did.....

loved his comments about Romney changing his positions.......

I thought they did a good job showing their different positions, but I thought Joe schooled him on the middle east part of the debate.....

Yeah, that was special, throw them under the bus for Libya and then turn around and guarantee they would be the first to tell us if Iran was going nucular.......

Ryan came off timid and Biden well......I voiced how he was acting earlier. As for the "debate" the moderator was crappy, the debate itself a draw, nothing new from either side even the same lies and half truths were told.

At the end of the day I don't think it will have an effect one way or the other.

Lotta good that did. Make it clear by acting like a total jackass? That's pretty smart.

If what we watched from Biden is classified as "winning" a debate, I'd just as soon lose.

CNN poll has Ryan 48% Biden 44%. The other 8% were interrupted by Biden when they tried to answer. Biden showed himself to be a classless tool all evening. Lied his a** off out the gate about not knowing about additional security requests in Libya.

I have to agree with you on this. I only caught the foreign policy part, and it was sort of crinch worthy on the part of Ryan. I feel that he didn't offer much of a differing strategy. That being said, I really wish a candidate one day would come out and say, "We should let all of those people kill each other, and we aren't going to send another dime in aid over there. They can be as mean as they want to their own people." Of course, that is just my emotional, simplistic black and white mind speaking.

That's why I stopped watching. It was so bizarre, especially when talking about serious subjects. Most people who laugh and carry on like that are typically in padded rooms.
