Nobody is picking the Rangers. I think we are going to surprise some people. Rangers in 6.

Kings have played 7 games in every series this post season, and Hank is undefeated in game 7s. This has to go 7 games.

Nice intro to Hockey Night in Canada with Neil Young " Love And only Love " playing while they showed highlights from the playoffs .

had a great time in Bryant Park last night except for the outcome.

What a sea of people. The place was packed. Exciting game. Hopefully Rangers get back into the series next game.

That might have been the worst turnover in hockey history. Ugh.

There have been some great intro's throughout the year. As much as I am not a Ron McLean fan I think he is the amin push to have Cdn musc in intro.

Can't seem to get excited about Kings and Rangers. I have liked neither team ever. kings have a player from Scarborough so that makes a difference and thats about it. Hopefully Rangers can win a game or two but last night's thumping was a good one and I don't think Kings will let up.

Again IMO the only reason Rangers are there is because Rangers knocked out Price. Cdn's wouldn't have done much better last night but at least a Cdn team in SC would make things intersting for me.

Training Camp opens in 3 months go Leafs!!!!

LOL, Rangers are there because they beat Montreal in all aspects of the game. Who played goal for Montreal made no difference. Suppan playing 30 minutes a game exhausted himself and he made costly turnovers all over the ice. Pacieretti and Volnak never showed up. So blame Kreider for his" headhunting" as reason NY won ????? LOL

Would have been a 5 game series if not for the refs completely blowing the call on Stepan.

And yes Kings are really good but Rangers will come back because unlike what all the experts think , the Rangers are a pretty good team and can play with anyone. They had a poor start to season but played strong after that. They will compete and give LA a good run. I thought it was a pretty competitive game last night. Girardi is very solid but made a lousy play and gave the game away.

Much more competitive than your Canadians were in game 6 when they got about zero shots in the 3rd period and were only a goal behind.

Sorry to bore non Kings and Rangers fans but the playoffs this year have been pretty awesome if you enjoy hockey.

LOL

Don't think I said the playoffs have been boring just that I don't have any connection to either of the teams in this years Stanley Cup. Same thing happens in Superbowls and MLB playoffs. I ain't watching St. Louis Cards at Anaheim Angels until they get to game 5 or 6 and maybe not at all.

I watched last nights game and IMO Rangers are going to wish they we're playing the Cdn's with Tokarski in net instead of Kings and Quick. I will watch Saturdays game as well just hope Rangers can make the series interesting.

And again IMO if the Cdn's had their gold medal winning goalie able to win a game or two on his won in net I beleive the series would have been differnet. Go back and watch games one and 2. Tokarksi was lost out there. No idea how to play with his defence and vice versa. Once they started to gell the series was up for grabs but habs we're already down 2-0.

If you don't think not having one of the best goalies in the league standing behind you takes away from a teams confidence I guess you figure a team with an injured starting QB sitting on the bench could still win the Superbowl because everyone else on the team is still playing.

At least you are making it easier for me to cheer for the Kings.

How was a 3-2 win in overtime a "good thumping"? Your theory that the only reason the Rangers advanced is because Price was hurt (he wasn't "knocked out") is ridiculous as his replacement was excellent and Price would have been no better. Talk about sour grapes.

Preety sure I explained this twice now. I believe a team without thier starting goalie behind them is not the same team as on with a erplacement, especially a third stringer.

It took 3 games before Tokarsik got his feet under him and the guys in front of him believeing in him. Its not like you step on the ice and think well all is good I can still free wheel it because I have a guy with 10 yes 10 games under his belt in the NHL.

Its your opinion that Cdn's still would have lost with CP in net. I beg to differ. No sour grapes, just an opinion. I beleeve I am alowed that. Cheers!!! Kings in 5, TOPS!!!

by time Price got hurt, game 1 was already pretty much settled IMO. Not sure Takarsky is 3rd string. If so, why did he play over the other goalie? Refs stole the game when Stepan got hurt. Canadians lost the series with no power play and no depth. They won game 5 and only had to win game 6 to go home and clinch. The Rangers scored 1 goal in game 6 so goalie did not seem to be the problem for Montreal. Just my opinion.

Glad you can now hate NY even more!!!!

Rangers could certainly use a good bounce or call. They played 2 solid road games but came up short. As Parcells used to say about being on the road. Give yourself a chance to win in the 4th quarter. Rangers have done that in both games but been empty.

Up 2-0 in the Finals without actually having a lead during time of play. It just might be the Kings' year...

Not the reason they lost but what a brutally unfair call on the King's third goal. How is Lundquvist supposed to make a save when he can't move his body because a King player is in his crease? The goal should clearly have been disallowed. Nevertheless, the Rangers still had to find a way to win that game. 10-0 when leading after 2 in the playoffs. Now 10-1. A soul crushing loss to a real fan. Now the odds seem daunting. But a win tonight and we have a real chance. Let's Go Rangers!

It looked to me like the King was heading to the front of the net and at the same time the ranger defence was collasping in front of the net. The two came together and the goalie got blocked out.

Can't recall if goal was in before he fell on him but I think it was.

Calls get missed, goalies get run, win 2 games at home and you are back in it.

correct, call get missed- Rangers need to win tonight and go from there. I would think a great series to watch if you are a hockey fan, tough to watch as a Ranger fan. Missing my first home game since Philly series tonight- gave my kids the tix.

I will be there Wednesday no matter what happens tonight.

Kings are just a solid team playing with every bounce imaginable. A lethal combination. Amazing how Zucarella did not bang in that goal and amazing how Kings score at end of period on a deflection off the guys skate blade.

Tough not for the home team.

It's old news now but 1. The puck was not in when Hank was interfered with. The player in the crease tipped the goal. Second, the interference was not him falling on Hank. It was him standing in the crease blocking Hank from moving when the shot was taken. It was text book interference. A player is not allowed to stand IN the crease when a shot is taken and that goal should have been instantly waved off. The referee told Hank the puck crossed the line first which was a total lie as replay showed.

The Kings are clearly the team of destiny. The Rangers juju has completely deserted them and the Kings are getting every bounce and break. It is sad that the Rangers could not even score a goal on their home ice for all those fans that paid all that money. I certainly have no problem with the Kings winning the cup. They are the better team. But I expected a better showing. Here I think the Rangers inexperience and lack of leadership has hurt them. It will be interesting to see if their pride allows them to win at least one game tomorrow. None of this negates the magical ride that got us here. it's been a lot of weeks of fun for Ranger fans.
